Baptism
Baptism is the ritual by which we publicly acknowledge that we are God's: God loves us and has a claim on our life. By Baptism we become a member of the Body of Christ "the church".

When an adult is baptised, it is called Believer's Baptism and involves the person making a public, life-long commitment to follow Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and as an active member of the Christian Church.

In Infant Baptism, the child's parents commit themselves, in a Sunday morning service, to bringing their child up as a follower of Jesus, in the life of the Church. Whether we are baptised as an adult or an infant, baptism is once for all and for life.

To speak with the Minister about baptism, phone the church office: 01753 534 079 or go to our Contact page.

Weddings
As Christians we believe that marriage is a gift of God, and in several conversations with the Minister, the couple are helped to prepare for their marriage together. To speak with the Minister about getting married, phone the church office: 01753 534 079 or go to our Contact page.

Funerals
To arrange for a funeral at St. Andrew's, or to be taken by the Minister at a crematorium or cemetery chapel, phone the church office: 01753 534 079 or go to our Contact page.

Memorial Services
Occasionally, a special service is held at St. Andrew's to give thanks for the lives of those who have died. If you would like to be notified the next time there is such a service, please phone the church office: 01753 534 079 or go to our Contact page.
